I think a pretty good way to round out the weekend is watching the top singers of the year perform back to back, don’t you? Well, I am hoping you caught the American Music Awards (AMA’s) last night then. They were fantastic! Great singers, great songs and great performances all night. Not to mention a lot of great messages thrown out to viewers that promoted empowerment and support of one another. And let’s not forget the clothing. Hello, best reason to watch any awards show! The rock, pop and rap gurus all showed up looking pretty jazzy. [See what I did with that music pun?!] Not only did they bring their A games to the red carpet, but the looks during the show were equally, if not more, impressive. What I love about musicians, besides their ability to impact our lives through song, is their fearless exploration of fashion. While they don’t always look what what we would say is typically “pretty,” they do push the envelop and take risks with fashion. That’s what fashion is all about after all. I mean, how fun would it be to be in an industry where you can rock whatever you want, whenever you want. Below are my favorite looks from last nights AMA’s. Do they match yours?
