The Academy Awards, more commonly refered to as the Oscars (the name of the little stauettes given out) are the culmination of the entertainment industry awards season. This year, after the WGA and SAG-Aftra strikes, the entertainment industry was buzzing more than ever during awards season and the stars brought out some of their best looks (and maybe some of their worst too!). The Oscars is the night to cap-off the run of red carpet fashion during awards season and the hope (at least mine) is that the stars will go for bold and memorable looks. While there were some upsets among the winners inside the show, the fashion on the red carpet didn’t leave anything left to be desired. The trends of the night seemed to be pink, silver and black, with casual hair. I prefer more color and more glam at the Oscars – I like a real wow moment – but there were plenty of fabulous looks nonetheless. And kudos to the event designers, who created a stunning backdrop to all the gorgoeous ensembles Here are my picks for best dressed at the 2024 Oscars. Who topped your best dressed list?
