Is the Academy Museum Gala the new Met Gala? The answer – I’m not quite sure just yet, but it certainly seems to be the west coasts version of the famed fashion night, and the hottest ticket in Tinseltown.

If you don’t know what the Academy Museum Gala is, let me fill you in.  The gala is an annual star-studded fundraising event held at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles to support its exhibitions, educational programs, and public programming. The museum offers a show stopping backdrop to the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, and of course stunning views of the famed Hollywood sign. The event celebrates and honors leading figures in film. And while inside the party is a who’s who, the red carpet is really where everyone wants to be seen.

I loved that there was color and variety, so many silhouettes and plenty of glitter and feathers. A little bit of something for everyones tastes! Here are my picks for best dressed at the 2025 Academy Museum Gala.
