Just like that, it’s 2026 and another awards season is underway in Hollywood. The Critics Choice Awards, which took place Sunday, January 4 at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica kicked off the celebratory season. What makes this awards show a great one to get everything going is the crowd of attendees it draws. On the red carpet and receiving awards you’ll find the ‘who’s-who’ from both TV and film; including reality stars, up-and-coming film stars and the most elite of the A-List (I’m looking at you Mr. DiCaprio).

While the awards show itself is fun because it covers so much ground of the entertainment world, the fashion on the red carpet is of course always my favorite part of the night. This show sets the tone for what’s to come on red carpets down the road, and it’s fun to envision and predict what the stars will do with their fashion during the awards circut.

Here are my picks for the best dressed at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards.

(Side Note: My best dressed lists are based on the whole look, from head to toe. Sometimes I love a gown but dislike the overall styling of the hair and accessories, so that look doesn’t make the list.)
