The Oversized Leopard Print Sweater I’m Wearing on Repeat This Winter

Every winter I buy at least one new sweater that I love and instantly become obsessed with. A sweater I want to wear on repeat. This winter, it’s an oversized leopard print sweater. It’s so cozy I feel like I’m wrapped in a blanket, and the oversized fit taps perfectly into current fashion trends.

Oversized doesn’t have to mean big and baggy, or shapeless and sloppy. When an oversized sweater fits well — and you’re not swimming in it — it becomes the ideal everyday piece. Pair it with the right accoutrements and it transforms into a polished winter outfit.

And yes — I firmly believe leopard print is a neutral. I’ve styled this oversized sweater with jeans for an effortless everyday look, tried the millennial tuck with a skirt for a chicer ensemble and paired it with leather for a slightly edgier vibe.

Honestly this is probably true of every season for me. I find something new I love and want to wear it again and again. You would think that would help me maintain a cleaned-out closet. Wear one piece often, let another piece go. That doesn’t seem to be the case for me! I hold onto clothes because you never know, maybe in five years I’ll have a theme party I need to be able to wear it to. Guess that’s what you get when you’re a fashion girly.

No matter how stocked your closet is, remember: if you love something, it’s okay to put it on rotation. Repeating outfits doesn’t mean you lack style – it means you’ve found a versatile wardrobe staple. With simple styling changes you can make any piece of clothing feel new, even if you’re wearing it two days apart. Swap the shoes, add different accessories, change your hair and makeup, or grab a fresh handbag. And witht the right adjustments, I can wear it into spring. Small changes can make your favorite pieces feel fresh, versatile, endlessly wearable and most importantly, worthy of your devotion.
