So, what did you think of my retro vibe in the last post? I hope you liked it, because here is part two! As I said last time, there are just so many fun 70’s boho inspired pieces right now, it’s hard to pick just one…or two, or three. 😉 The pattern on this dress… Continue reading Boho Babe (Part 2)

The pieces we are seeing are not polyester and… Continue reading Boho Babe (Part 1)

What in the hail, Chicago? 🌨⛈
Have you ever wanted a piece of clothing from somewhere you’ve never been, just so you have something unique and beautiful in your closet? Well I’ve got just the thing for you.👗 This plaid skirt, which is buttery soft might I add, is from NOVICA, an online store that sells thousands of fair trade goods from all over the world. This one was made in Peru. 🇵🇪 I love that a place like this gives me the opportunity to support “local“ from the convenience of my own home. Plus I get a beautiful piece in my closet that not everybody else is gonna have.👘 I’m curious, is there a country outside of your own that you’ve gotten a piece of clothing from that you just loved? ❤️
#tbt ➡️ This time 5 years ago I was strolling the streets of Havana, Cuba. Let me tell you, you walk outside in Cuba on a July day and, well…🥵. But it was worth every drop!
13 years ago on this day I moved to Chicago. It’s crazy how that seems like yesterday and like a million years ago all at once. I’ve learned so much about this city over those 13 years, and so much about myself too. The adventures, the experiences and the memories have been great. Cheers to 13 Chicago! ❤️
I love when random and silly “National” days take you down memory lane. So here’s a Tuesday Take-Me-Back in honor of #nationalhawaiiday and #nationalbikiniday. 🌴👙☀️🏖🌊🌸
It’s the weekend, which hopefully means fun adventures ahead, whether near or far! If you happen to find yourself in NYC (or will be visiting soon), check out my 3 day guide. It includes some well known spots and some hidden gems. 🍎 P.S. The rooftop bar where this pic was taken had the BEST cocktail I’ve ever had. That’s in the guide too! 🍹 {link in bio}
Why are there so many songs about rainbows? Maybe it’s because dreams really do come true. Maybe it’s because skies are blue. 🌈 But it’s probably just because rainbows spark hope and positivity. And today on Sarah In Style we’re bringing that into our dining decor, with a true rainbow connection. 🌈 {link in bio}
