I love taking a favorite piece from my closet and transforming it. One of the easiest ways to do that is to transition it from day to night, or event to event. Changing an outfit with shoes, accessories, hair and makeup is a simple way to get a brand new look, without having to put on a brand new outfit. A beautiful blue dress is perfect for summer and those pretty blue skies we enjoy this time of year. You definitely won’t be feeling the blues. Plus, it is neutral enough you can play with accessorizing to make fun changes. For day, flat sandals of course, a great hat, beautiful sunglasses, and a fun necklace (I love statement necklaces!), plus a bag big enough to fill with goodies complete the look. For night, or maybe day but just another event, re-style the hat hair, throw on some strappy sandals, switch to a clutch, change the necklace, and if you are still out in the day, leave on those beautiful sunglasses, and you are good to go!
Day / Outfit One
These pretty sunnies are not only aptly named “Summer Time,” they have lenses that are clear and crisp, with a beautiful tint. Plus, they come with PolarizedPlus2® technology, which not only cuts down the glare (99.9% of it to be exact), but keeps my eyes safe from UV rays. I never actually knew that the sun could damage your eyes until recently. It can cause things like macular degeneration and cataracts. We of course know the damages the sun can cause to our skin, and take action to protect that, but we should be doing the same for our eyes. With Maui Jim, your eyes are safe and you will be saying “the view is better from here,” because it truly will be!
