It’s one of my favorite times of year – AWARDS SEASON! It’s almost like Christmas all over for me, and something I look forward to at the start of each new year. I go gaga over the red carpets. And this year, with Lady Gaga walking the carpet, that statement seems even more accurate. I saw more movies in 2018 than I saw in maybe the last 5 years, so award season 2019 is especially exciting, as I actually have seen a lot of the films that are nominated. And I know a lot of the television shows too, so I am covered all around!
Of course, kicking off the season, as always, is the Golden Globes, which are held at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills. It’s the perfect start to awards season because it’s a fun show. The attendees get to sit at tables and dine and drink their way through the night. The fact that it is a little more relaxed shows on the red carpet too. Everyone seems happy, comfortable and extra chatty (which I am sure hosts Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic really appreciate).
Each year, and with each passing show, the fashions seem to get better and better. I think I say this in almost all of my best dressed recaps – that it’s “hard for me to narrow it down to a few handfuls of favorites,” but this time around that is 1,000% true. Watching the stars walk the red carpet (which by the way is over 900 feet at the Golden Globes) I literally kept oohing and aahing over every look. There were so many unique dresses this time around – featuring different color combos, funkier beading and bows bigger than life. While I can’t the same the same for all the hair and make-up choices, the outfits more than made up for it. I am so excited to see what’s to come throughout the rest of awards season, and even more excited to share with you my picks for best dressed. So, without further ado, here are my (3 handfuls of) best dressed ladies from the 2019 Golden Globes.

I’m heading to LA to the Grammys next month, after seeing these pics, I think I should wear a long dress..had thought about a 3/4 length. Great pictures.

Oh my goodness you are, how exciting! And how lucky – how did you score that invite?! And I would vote long for sure. Even though the Grammy’s let people show a funkier style, you can still find a great long gown. It’s not often we get to wear those, you know! Have so much fun. 🙂
