Showcasing music chart toppers isn’t the only thing the Billboard Music Awards is known for, they also showcase fashions chart toppers too. The show has always been a chance musics best to put their vocal chops on display as well as coolest fashion. The trends covered this year were all over the place…pant suits on ladies, sleek evening gowns and bling-y minis to name a few. Not only did the who’s who of music rock it on the red carpet, they rocked even harder during the show. There were amazing performances by Kelly Clarkson (who also hosted), Tori Kelly, Khalid and legends Mariah Carey, Paula Abdul and Madonna. There are so many wonderful things happening in music right now, and the 2019 Billboard Music Awards definitely highlighted all of them!

P.S. If you want to experience a real throwback, the people over at AOL treated everyone to photos from the 1999 red carpet. I think some of the outfits on this list, stars would still wear today! And some, well, lets hope they are gone for good. Regardless, I am sure I was fan-girling just as much (if not more) back then.
