When you think of MTV, you probably think of young people and edgy music and TV, and that is exactly what was represented on the red carpet for the 2019 MTV Movie Awards. Lots of up and coming talent and some very funky fashions. A few trends were definitely on display, like colored suits for the men, and suit jacket dresses for the ladies. Dark colors seemed more popular than lights or brights, and sequins were as always, quite prominent. Below is my picked for best dressed!

I think my fave out of the above is Kiernan Shipka’s Fendi dress. Loving that bold use of colour.
