Sashay This Way To Vacay

One of my favorite parts of traveling is the fact that you get to be some place new, with all new people, living a life outside the ordinary. For many, me included, this means wearing fashions that maybe you wouldn’t, or couldn’t typically wear. Sometimes the hum-drum of our regular lives means our clothing choices have to be practical and fit into the daily grind. But on vacation, the sky is the limit!

While on vacation, I thoroughly enjoy spending a day out exploring a new town, then getting glam for an evening out. Even if it’s just a nice dinner, it’s worth feeling fancy! While maxi dresses are definitely in style, casual ones are easier to rock when at home. But, while on vacation more formal floor length ensembles seem to be more acceptable. They add an air of elegance and touch of class, which every vacation deserves in my opinion. Which means it’s probably no surprise that I’m the type of girl who would be thrilled to go to McDonald’s in a formal gown, just to get to wear the gown.

Use vacation as a time to explore parts of yourself, and your closet, you don’t normally get to see. Make an adventure out of everything, and dress the part, no matter what it is.
