Best Dressed: 2022 Oscars

For us fashionistas, the Oscars is basically our Superbowl. It’s a culmination of all the other awards shows from the season, and a chance for the stars to build upon their previous looks and pull out all the stops on the red carpet. The Academy Awards (aka Oscars) are for the world of entertainment, and they are simply a moment in time for fashion and film lovers – they’re not supposed to be too serious, they’re just our chance to escape the everyday and try to put ourselves in the stars shoes – which are probably Christian Louboutin. One can dream, right? And that’s what this night is all about! After a few years with less fanfare due to the pandemic, it was nice to see the Oscars red carpet back in full swing, with one stunning look after another (and a few misses too) strutting down it.
