There is something more luxurious and glamorous about an awards show in another country, especially when royalty is attending. London in particular, the city where the BAFTA’s are held just oozes elegance. (Maybe not the most elegant word!) I have to say the stars walking the BAFTA carpet oozed that elegance as well. To say they all understood the assignment is an understatement. The looks were elevated, classic and timeless. It was refreshing to see, when these days we see so many high slits, low cuts, and sheer fabrics. This red carpet felt like stepping back in time but into the future of fashion, all at once. It’s clear red is a trend of awards season this year, as is fan favorite, and a moody London color – black, and these seem perfectly suited for the event and the location. There were plenty of unique looks, especially among the men, and some staple silhouettes as well. It may just be my favorite carpet of the season thus far. Here are my picks for best dressed at the 2024 BAFTA awards.
