The Tony Awards celebrate live theater performances and therefore it should be no surprise that the attendees would also bring their best live performances to Tony Awards red carpet. The 79th Annual Tony Awards, which took place June 7, 2026 at Radio City Music Hall in NYC not only delighted viewers with an amazing show, hosted by legendary musician, P!nk, but they also gave fashion lovers some hits on the red carpet. Would we expect anything less from the theater crowd? I think not!
Getting all glammed up and walking a red carpet might just seem like fun and fanfare, but it’s a performance. Posing just right, deciding to smile or smize, where to look, what to say – it’s a lot. And honestly, this was one of the best red carpets I have seen in quite some time – for the sheer variety of fashion and well-planned looks. Below is my list of best dressed at the 2026 Tony Awards, which includes Broadway’s newest babe, Whitney Leavitt (and literal record breaker) and her Dancing with the Stars partner Mark Ballas with his wife B.C. Jean.
