Since half of the country has been blanketed with snow, and since I am dreading a return home from paradise…aka vacation in the Florida Keys…I figured I would do my best to share some sunshine and some spring/summer fashion inspiration. It has to come at some point, right?!

With my love of all things tropical, it should come as no shock, that I am a Lilly girl through and through. I love how happy all the prints make me! Even it if it just writing things down in my my planner, it takes me away briefly, filling my head with visions of palm trees and sea breezes.

When I found this dress at Lilly Pulitzer, I fell in love. Not only was it a great print, but it was just a unique design. A two piece, off the should, with slits in the skirt…just perfection. It makes for a gorgeous ensemble when together, but it will also be perfect to mix and match with other pieces. It’s always nice when you can get more than one look out of one purchase, right!?

I have to say, Lilly looks great anywhere, but it looks all the more fantastic in a tropical setting. And this little piece of paradise was a place I happened to stumble upon during my recent time in Islamorada. The name of this garden center is enough to entice anyone who dreams of being on island time, (it’s Island Home by the way), but something you don’t even see from the road. The lush greenery, twinkle lights in the trees and gorgeous flowers are what caught my eye, and likely that of anyone who drives by. Once you enter Island Home, you are engulfed in another world, a tropical world. Palm trees everywhere, unique plants, a terrarium gift shop. You name it (tropical plant style) and they have it. And doesn’t Lilly’s “Travelers Palm” print look heavenly here!
