I am one of many fangirls, ‘ooing’ and ‘ahhing’ over Princess Kate and her fabulous style. I am always excited as new photos emerge in the press to see what she is wearing. It never fails that it’s something classic, elegant, flattering and ladylike. She is truly the epitome of what a young Princess should be. And how awesome is it that she re-wears her clothing. It’s nice to see that even the future Queen of England must style her clothes in new ways, like us “common folk.” If you are saying “okay, great Sarah, nice to know you like how Kate dresses, but why are you telling us now?” Well, she just wore what I think is my favorite ensemble of hers yet.

The photos above, and below, were taken at the annual Trooping the Colour celebration this weekend. Kate wears an Alexander McQueen dress and a Jane Taylor hat. Yes, it’s bumblegum-esque, but I think I love it so much since it seems so out of this world, yet it’s still modern and classic. This look is exactly what I would picture a modern day Princess in if you asked me to describe her. The color is just gorgeous, and looks great with her skin tone. The detailing on the dress is so intricate and fantastic. (Pleats are a lot of work!) And that hat…oh, that hat! It almost looks like it was pulled from the pages of a Dr. Seuss book. Which makes me love it all the more. Her two small accessories aren’t bad either. I am talking about Prince George and Princess Charlotte of course!

Since this beautiful gal is always one to watch, I thought I would share my top 5 looks she has worn over the years. (Not including the one above of course.) It was so hard to narrow down to just 5. I could give you a list of my top 100 if you asked! Looking back over these outfits, I really have to give her so much credit, as it must be very hard to always have to look so put together. It’s the price she pays for true love I suppose, but she sure does it well (and in style)!

 What woman does not hope to have people describe them as elegant and classy? While I don’t dress as prim and proper as her always, I do try when the occasion presents itself. I have even been told I look like her, by both kids and adults. Very high complement, that I am more than happy to take! What are your favorite styles Kate has worn?
