As a little girl, growing up I saw my mom wear countless blazers. Every day as she dressed up for work, it seems the outfit had a matching blazer. It was definitely a fashion statement at that time, and an even bigger one if you had shoulder pads. Kind of like hair back then, the bigger the better! While the trend has changed a bit over time, the blazer is still a staple, in both my mom’s closet, and in most women’s across the globe. It has lasted through time because it is so versatile, and very fashionable as well. Think about it…they come in every color, many different shapes/cuts and they go with just about everything. If you are missing one from your closet, I recommend you add it to your shopping list, stat. You won’t regret having an option to pair with jeans, to dress up a bit for work, or to dress up a lot for a night on the town. This time of year, it’s great for an added layer of warmth too! To add to the versatility, I recommend a color you can wear with many different pieces, such as my blush pink one below, from Tobi. This color transitions very well through all four seasons. Gone are the days of feeling like a 1980’s business woman in your blazer, and in are the days of looking like a sophisticated, fashionable gal!
