If there is one thing I know about boots, it’s that they make a winter outfit! Think about it…there are so many variations of boots. Tall ones, short ones, heeled ones, wedged ones, flat ones, black ones, brown ones, studded ones – okay, guessing you get the picture! But, come winter you can count on finding me in one pair or another every day. They add warmth on a chilly day, style to any ensemble and comfort, which makes them made for walking! Styled with a shift dress here, and simple, yet stunning jewelry, this pair make this outfit one you will see on rotate from me throughout this winter.
A couple things to remember…boots aren’t limited to skirts and dresses. You can easily pair them with jeans, leggings, etc. In winter, I love to pair mine with fleece-lined tights or leggings. Talk about cozy! And, remember that not all looks need bold pieces to make a statement. Take my necklace for example. It’s super simple and delicate, but paired with a plain dress it really pops. It pulls the gold from my boots, and the shimmer from the shining sun. It would look equally as pretty with a T-shirt or a sweater.
Earlier this month I told you all about Millenium Park in Chicago, and you might remember I mentioned more to come on my gorgeous office view…well, this is it! I am one lucky duck to look at out this stunning scenery everyday, right from my desk. It’s fun to sit back and think about all the people wandering around the park and what they are doing. It’s the perfect backdrop to any outfit and the best place to test out boots that are made for walking.
