Wow, the last few weeks have been a whirlwind. I have to apologize for being quite absent from blogging. I miss writing for you! I was on the road for work and vacation for basically the last 2.5 weeks, and sleep just needed to happen before any writing did. With that said, I have had lots of time to work on content that I will be sharing with you all soon. Get ready for some new fashion posts, some great travel recaps, some yummy food inspiration and some beautiful design ideas. In the meantime, let’s get back on track with one of my favorite things to share…my best dressed lists! This time around, it’s all about country and the ACM Awards 2018.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, country  music stars know how to party. They always look like they are just having the best time at their awards shows. Of course they bring their A+ style game as well. What’s better than having fun and looking absolutely fabulous while doing it? Not much!

This years show came to us from Las Vegas – which I am headed to in a couple weeks! (So excited, it’s one of my favorite places.) My favorite red-haired lady hosted, Reba that is. She was hilarious, and most importantly dressed impeccably. Plus, she sang one of my favorite songs of hers, with Kelly Clarkson. Perfection, that’s all I can say! The show also included a wonderful tribute to the lives lost at a country concert in Vegas this past year. Many of the nights biggest stars kicked off the show acknowledging what had happened and talking about how healing music is. If you think about it, music really does get us through so much in life – both the good and the bad times. The whole show was dedicated to the victims of that tragic night in October. It’s wonderful to see that all of those people who were just out for a night of fun and had their lives cut short, won’t be soon forgotten. Music truly will continue to heal the hole that this event has left in so many people’s hearts. Well done ACM’s, well done.
