People often ask me to describe my style, which is a pretty difficult thing to do, as it can change drastically depending on the day and my fashion mood. However, there are some common themes that I tend to carry over pretty regularly, from look to look. Among those would be “classic,” “modernized” and “girly.” The best part of fashion is finding your look, mixing the styles you like best and just having fun with it. And what’s more fun than polka-dots, ruffles, pink suede and Chanel? For any classic, modern girly-girl, the answer is not much. That’s exactly why I combined all of them into one look!
As you say it out loud -“polka-dots, ruffles, pink suede and Chanel” – it might sound like an awful lot to combine into one look. Well, fear not, it’s really all about balance. Sometimes the funky pieces, like polka-dot jeans or a ruffled top, can become staples in your wardrobe when simply mixed with the right pieces, even when that’s with each other.
This particular look all stemmed from these lovely pink shoes! If you need a perfect sneaker for spring/summer, look no further. You probably would never guess from the “sweet, girly” outside, everything going on on the inside…but these Vionic shoes are made to perform. They are what I would call “not your Grandma’s orthotics” orthotics. They have great arch support, a deep heel cup and forefoot cushioning, all of which have a huge part in elevating your foots overall support and help naturally align the body. You may not realize it, but supporting your foot properly can improve a lot of things, like foot/leg or lower back pain. For a girl with flat feet (and a lot of foot problems) my Vionics are truly a godsend – they make my feet feel like they are walking on cushions (supportive ones of course)! The best part though is that they look adorable and you would never know they are doing all of that foot magic just beneath their pretty pink surface! I have been wearing these with pants, skirts and dresses since they are a versatile color and go with so much. (They have a ton of other cute styles that you can check out here.)
So, as I was saying, the pink beauties kicked off this look and made me want to go for something ultra girly. I added a pair of my not-so-basic jeans (with polka-dots), a white top (to match the white polka-dots — remember I said it’s all about balance) with ruffled sleeves and some sleek silver sunnies. To add a little bit of of that classic, modern edge to this look I added the always perfect Boy Chanel cross-body bag in black. It’s sleek and goes with pretty much any ensemble, even one with an otherwise soft color palette. Of course, all of this paired with some pretty spring blooms and I have the best look to describe me, or I should say, the looks that are most typically me – classic, modern and girly. In my opinion, it’sthe sweetest combo!

Signed with Style,
Very cute! Love the jeans, though I don’t need any excuses to buy any more polka dots!
