The world is slowly getting back to normal, and one of the best things to come out of this, LIVE RED CARPETS! I know, I know, this is trivial in the grand scheme of things, but something trivial is what we all need right now. It gives us a chance to focus on something outside of the real world. But this particular awards show is actually super relevant this year. In 2020, more than ever, people turned to music as a release. Whether they lounged on the couch and listened to H.E.R. for a mental detox or danced around their living rooms to Dua Lipa, music was a way to escape the strains of the pandemic. There was a lot of great music to come out of the last year (apparently being stuck at home sparked some creative juices)! And now, we get to see the great fashion these awesome musicians step out in to take credit for the music that was medicine for all of us during quarantine. A lot of the looks left much to be desired, or should I say not enough to be desired, but some stood out as real winners. So, without further ado, here is my red carpet best dressed list for the 2021 Billboard Music Awards.
