Aloha, my friends! Over the past few months I have been sharing about my adventures in Hawaii (with more to come soon about Maui), so I figured this fashion statement was fitting for the time. As we near the latter part of summer- which I’m sad to even type – it’s also time to start bringing out the jeans again. Is there a better combo than jeans and a white tee with sneakers? Probably not, but when you add a little aloha and some fun pops of color the classic combo is all the more cheery.
I often say, fashion represents your mood, and there is probably not a more straighforward mood setting fashion choice than a graphic t-shirt. You can literally showcase what you feel, or how you want to feel right on your shirt! That’s what I loved about this aloha tee, and I knew not only would it be a fun souvenir from my trip to Hawaii, but every time I wore it I would be reminded of my visit, and the simple statement – ALOHA – would brighten the days of those I pass by.
Did you know Hawaiians use one word to say hello, goodbye and love? They do, and that word happens to be aloha! You think it’s confusing, but it’s really in the tone of the way you say it, that you get your message across. Boldly placed on a shirt, well, the reader can decide for themselves, but when backed with colorful surfboards, they are bound to smile.
Beyond your mood, fashion shouldn’t be a chore, it should be fun. So wear what you love, and if that’s jeans and a tee, remeber you can always step it up with a few fun accessories. Colorful sunglasses always add pizzaz to a look, but a bold bag and statement earrings tie the look together. Accessories can easily make a simple tee anything but basic. For this spunky look, I chose accessories in colors that complemented my aloha surfboards!
