Music is all about self-expression, as is fashion, so on the biggest night in the music industry, you can expect to see some very expressive, often outrageous fashions. The Grammy Awards are always a time to see what wild and wacky ensembles stars may strut down the red carpet wearing. This year was no exception. While most of the looks aren’t mainstream in any way, they are a representation of the artist wearing them, a performance piece. After all, the Grammy stage AND the Grammy red carpet are full of musicians putting on a show for us viewers. I have to hand it to the guys this year, as they really took some fun risks with fashion and updated otherwise very classic pieces. Sometimes more is more, but often less is more, and it’s fun to see how a lot of the men of the night made an impression in a subtler way than the ladies. Between all the attendees, there was a lot to look at!
