When fall rolls in, it usually brings with it gloomier skies and shorter, darker days….but that does not mean your wardrobe needs to follow suit. If anything, this should be the time of year you want to embrace color and pattern; anything to bring a little more cheer and light to your days helps. I know that’s the case for me. (Hence my love, or should I say obsession, for colorful winter coats!)
When I found these pants they kind of screamed at me, “Hey Sarah, over here, I’m perfect for this weather you are dreading.” And, I will admit, when I put them on, they do make me smile. Who knew all you needed to beat the moody fall blues was a colorful wardrobe. And let’s not stop at clothing – add a bright pair of on-trend shoes and POP, even more pep in your step, literally. Since I didn’t want to go too overboard with this look I kept my top, jewelry and jacket simple and neutral. The purse, in a blush pink is neutral, but the ruffles keep it from being anything but boring.
