The 2019 Grammy Awards might possibly be the best I have ever seen! The red carpet looks were all incredible, and the show itself was AMAZING. Alicia Keys was the perfect host, with insightful things to say, but plenty of fun and whimsy thrown in too. There was so much girl power in the room it was overwhelming. There was Shawn and Miley (I have missed her on the music scene). There was Dolly Parton, with everybody who’s anybody! Kacey Musgraves made me cry singing Rainbow. And then there was the Motown tribute – which included great current artists paying tribute to Motown classics whose music I adore. The Staples Center must have really been bumpin’ last night.

I will admit, there were a lot of newcomers this year who I was clueless about, but it’s always interesting to hear their stories, and see their fashion and who they are. Of course, there were the vets, who I look forward to seeing every year, like Lady Gaga – who has always slayed (in the best possible way – even in a meat dress) the Grammy red carpet. Grammy Awards fashion is always fun. The stars get to put their funkiest foot forward and really show off their personalities. This year was no exception, which made it even more fun putting together my picks for best dressed. The colors worn were all relatively understated, and very alike, but the styles were all so different. Were any of my favorites from musics biggest night also yours?
