A sweater story in June, depending where you are in the world you may think I crazy writing about this. But, here in Chicago, it’s still cold. Although I am hoping it’s just delayed, I am starting to think summer has maybe decided to skip a visit to us altogether. Even in chilly temps, the flowers are out in full bloom, so I am enjoying one aspect of summer at the very least. Another summer staple, white pants of course. They bring a perfect soft touch to an otherwise winter-esque outfit. And to keep me extra warm and extra polished on these still chilly days, I have a great new accessory – for my sweater. Think of it like jewelry for the sweater!
The Pinzit was introduced to me a little while ago, as a stylish and simple way to keep a open front sweater closed. I am sure we have all been in situations where it would come in hand – you know, walking down the street in your stylish sweater (sans button) when the wind starts gusting and you can’t keep the darn thing closed. Well, that dilemma is solved! I used two different Pinzit’s to secure my sweater, and since they are quite different in style, I wanted to show you how to rock them both day and night.
For the simple rose Pinzit, I paired the look with a comfy sneaker, of course in pink (to complement the flowers, ugh, I mean the sweater!). To transition to the sparkly Pinzit, and an evening look, I swapped the sneaks for pair of elegant heeled slides. Both looks pair well with a navy tank, a lilac purse and a funky pair of pink sunnies. What’s great is I can transition this whole look into other seasons if needed. A lighter sweater for warmer weather, boots and dark denim for winter months, and so on. It’s a versatile look, that even when you don’t think you’ll need it (aka 50 degrees in June), comes in quite handy.
Don’t think I would leave you and your sweater flapping in the breeze. I want to share my new finds with you! Comment with your favorite way to wear a sweater and a lucky winner will be picked to receive their own Pinzit.

It’s still cold in London, too. I may have to follow your Pinzit suggestion!
