All good things must come to an end. This was my initial thought after seeing the stars on the 2022 CMT red (pink to be exact) carpet. Following a string of stunning awards show looks, it felt like the country stars had imposter syndrome, trying too hard dress like something they just aren’t. What that was, I still am not sure – some people looked like they were ready for a circus performance, others looked ready for a baby shower. Sure, country legends are known for their eccentric fashions, but this night seemed on another level – maybe a lower one. But, alas, there are always some diamonds in the rough, and I found them! Here are my picks for best dressed at the 2022 CMT Awards.
