Palms of Paradise

I just got back from a week in paradise, and could not have enjoyed my trip more.That week in paradise was actually not too far away, in Islamorada in the Florida Keys to be exact. I mentioned in a previous post that my parents “winter” in Florida, and I’m lucky that while there, they split their time between Destin and Islamorada. Great places to visit for sure! With the unlimited supply of sunshine in Florida, I was able to get some great pictures, so as a warning, you may see “palm tree styling” in several future posts…..no I did not move to a tropical locale. But hey, a girl can dream right!

These photos were taken at a place I highly recommend visiting if you are looking for a great meal with an unbelievable sunset, Morada Bay.

If you want a more casual meal, Morada Bay Beach Cafe is ideal. You will find yourself sitting on one of the colorful stools below, enjoying live music and a view of the bay.

If you want a fine dining experience, Pierre’s is the place to go. You can enjoy dinner,and a gorgeous sunset, from the patio of the beautiful white home below. The fish I had here (yellowtail) was the absolute best fish I have ever eaten!
