Picture this – beautiful people in beautiful clothes walking the red carpet just steps from the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. The scene of course is none other than the Cannes Film Festival, which just wrapped its 72nd run. The festival isn’t just about beautiful people in beautiful clothes, it’s truly about films. Their mission is “to draw attention to and raise the profile of films, with the aim of contributing towards the development of cinema, boosting the film industry worldwide and celebrating cinema at an international level.” Movies of all styles and length compete in the festival to claim top prizes, and some are there just to be there, not in on the competition. It’s a who’s who of the film industry, with non-stop events, screenings and parties in the gorgeous city of Cannes (which is in France). I have had the luxury of visiting, and I can tell you, it’s an amazing destination, which is likely a part of the reason they have a huge draw to this festival and have been running so long.
Now let’s get back to the beautiful people in beautiful clothes and take a look at the best dressed from the 12 day festival. With that many days, and numerous movie screenings, you can imagine how many people walked the red carpet. Hint: a lot! There were some beautiful spring trends including dresses in pastel and nude shades, airy feathers and lots of tulle and shiny sparkle. It was hard to narrow this list down, but these ladies in their stunning looks made it a little easier!

Hi Sarah,
All photo shoots you showcase are breathtaking. I really enjoyed looking at the beautiful people in beautiful clothes. I appreciate your hard work to compile all these pictures with information about the cannes film festival. I see a few of the models wear necklaces, bracelets that have made their look extraordinary. Wearing necklaces, bracelets and pewter charms are being compulsory in fashion.
