Winter Blues

I am pretty sure half of my city (Chicago) probably has the winter blues after the frigid weekend we just had! The temps hovered at 0 degrees pretty much all weekend. While I am not the biggest lover of winter, snow and cold weather (unless I am on a ski slope), I will say I am a big lover of winter fashion…particularly coats. I actually seem to have a slight obsession with them. You might remember one of my treasured coat finds from last year. Well, while I still love my little green baby, I have another to love this winter. It may be blue and it may be made for winter, but it brings a smile to my day….even with temperatures below freezing. A little bit of color truly can go along way in helping shape your mood, and pulling you out of those winter blues.

Styling Tip: If you don’t want to purchase a blinged-out hat, do it yourself! Take a beanie that you already have and add brooches. One can add simple elegance, while multiples can really make you a rockstar.
